1. Introduction & Core Principle
We built Fancy Fonts: Stylish Text as a free utility application designed to generate stylized Unicode typography, custom aesthetic fonts, decorative numbers, and ASCII text art for social media bios, messaging, gaming usernames, and status updates.
We deeply respect your personal privacy. Our core philosophy is simple: your typed text is yours alone. We do not operate remote servers to ingest, read, analyze, or monetize the text you transform or copy within the app.
2. Information Collection and Use
A. Information You Provide
When you enter text into the app or create custom font combinations:
- Local Text Input: The text you type is processed instantly in-memory using local Swift algorithms to map standard characters to decorative Unicode symbols. This text is never transmitted over the internet to our servers.
- Favorites & Custom Styles: Starred fonts, text art favorites, and custom signature
styles you design are stored locally on your device in Apple
UserDefaults. You can delete them at any time. - No User Account: You are never asked to provide your name, phone number, physical address, or email to access app features.
B. Automatically Collected Information & Third-Party Services
To support ongoing development, free maintenance, and unlockable font styles, this application integrates trusted third-party advertising SDKs:
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK):
We display banner, interstitial, native, and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process pseudonymous information in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, including:
- Device identifiers (such as Apple IDFA / IDFV, subject to your App Tracking Transparency permission).
- General IP address and geographic location data for non-sensitive ad delivery.
- App diagnostic logs, crash reports, and ad interaction metrics.

- Apple App Store & In-App Purchases (StoreKit):
If you purchase subscriptions or in-app items, all payment processing and billing transactions are securely handled directly by Apple Inc. We do not collect or store your payment card details, bank credentials, or Apple ID password.
3. Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14.5 and later, we honor Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If prompted, you may choose whether to allow Google AdMob to deliver personalized ads or non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in your iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
4. Permissions Used in the App
- Haptic Feedback / Vibration: Used to provide pleasant physical feedback when copying text, pressing buttons, or toggling favorites.
- Network Access: Used solely to load AdMob advertisements and verify App Store purchases with Apple.
- Clipboard (Pasteboard): When you tap "Copy", the app places your styled text onto your local clipboard. The app does not read unrelated clipboard contents.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Because your favorites, custom styles, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device, you have complete control over your data. You can delete any custom style or favorite directly in the app, or uninstall the app to permanently erase all locally stored data.
6. Children's Privacy
Our application is family-friendly and does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Because our service does not collect personal identity information, parents can be confident in a secure on-device experience.
7. Security
We value your trust. We implement standard iOS sandboxing, Apple Transport Security (ATS) protocols, and local memory safety architectures to ensure that your interaction with the app remains private and secure.
