Zennaxx Technology built the DJ Scratcher Neo mobile application (available on Android and iOS) as an ad-supported service. This Service is provided by Zennaxx Technology at no cost and is intended for use as is across Android and iOS platforms.

This page informs visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for anyone deciding to use our Services.

1. Device Permissions & Information Collection

To deliver core interactive audio, turntable scratch mixing, and mix recording features, our application requests specific device permissions depending on your operating system:

Android DJ Scratcher Neo (Android Permissions & Features)

Microphone & Audio Recording Permission (RECORD_AUDIO): Requested exclusively when you explicitly tap the master recording button in DJ Scratcher Neo to capture your live DJ turntable mix. Audio capture occurs strictly during active, user-initiated recording sessions. Your audio is rendered and saved locally on your Android device. We NEVER record secretly, monitor audio in the background, or upload your recordings to any remote servers.
Local Audio Library Access (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Requested solely to allow you to select local audio files from your device storage and load them onto Deck A or Deck B for scratching and playback. All music files are read and processed entirely on your device. We do not access, collect, or upload your private photos, personal documents, or unrelated files.
Local Mix Saving (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Allows saved DJ mix recordings to be written directly into your device's local audio storage folder. Your recorded audio files remain strictly local unless you choose to share them manually.
Online Music Library & Sound Samples: The app enables streaming and downloading of curated royalty-free DJ tracks and scratch audio samples via public content APIs. No personal identity or personal data is collected or shared when accessing these sound libraries.

iOS DJ Scratcher Neo (iOS Permissions & Features)

Apple Music & Local Audio Library Access: Requested solely to let you choose local audio tracks from your iOS Music Library to load onto Deck A and Deck B for scratching and playback. All audio files from your music library are processed locally on your iOS device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your personal music tracks on any external servers.
Microphone Access: Requested exclusively when you initiate the DJ Mix Recorder feature in DJ Scratcher Neo to capture your live scratch set. Recorded audio is stored directly inside the local Documents folder of your iOS device.
Local Documents Storage: Master mix recordings are rendered and saved locally inside your app's Documents folder. Your recordings remain private and on-device unless you explicitly export or share them via the standard iOS share sheet.
Online Music Library & Sound Samples: The app enables streaming and downloading of curated royalty-free DJ tracks and scratch audio samples (provided via the Pixabay API). No personal identity or personal data is collected or shared when accessing these sound libraries.

Privacy Assurance: We never sell, rent, or collect your personal music files, recordings, or user identities. All core DJ processing happens locally in real-time on your mobile device.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The apps utilize third-party SDKs that may collect technical information used to identify your device, analyze performance, and serve advertisements:

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
Google AdMob serves banner, interstitial, native, app open, and rewarded video ads within the apps across Android and iOS. AdMob may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA), IP addresses, and diagnostic telemetry to display ads and detect fraud.
Google Play Services (Android)
Used on Android devices for underlying framework stability, location-free device telemetry, and system service APIs.
Apple Media Services (iOS)
Used on iOS devices for localized App Store reviews, sharing, and standard iOS system framework integrations.

Android Advertising ID (GAID): On Android devices running DJ Scratcher Neo, Google AdMob utilizes the Google Advertising ID for ad delivery, capping, and analytics.
Managing Android Preferences: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your Android device settings under:

iOS DJ Scratcher Neo (iOS App Tracking Transparency)

App Tracking Transparency (IDFA): On iOS 14.5 and later running DJ Scratcher Neo, the app requests your explicit authorization before accessing your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
• If you tap "Allow": Google AdMob may use your IDFA to provide personalized advertising tailored to your interests.
• If you tap "Ask App not to Track": Your IDFA will not be accessed, and advertisements will be non-personalized.
Managing iOS Preferences: You can change your tracking permission at any time in your iOS device settings under:
Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > DJ Scratcher Neo.

Unrestricted Feature Access: Core DJ features (turntables, vinyl skins, audio mixing, FX, recordings) remain 100% functional regardless of whether you allow or decline ad tracking choices.

4. Log Data and Diagnostics

Whenever you use our Service, in the event of an unexpected crash or software error, technical diagnostic information (known as Log Data) may be collected through third-party monitoring tools. This Log Data may include details such as your device model, operating system version, the state of the app at the time of the event, and timestamps. This data is utilized solely to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain application stability.

5. Cookies and Device Identifiers

These mobile applications do not explicitly utilize web cookies. However, third-party libraries (including Google AdMob) may employ mobile SDK storage and identifiers to optimize ad delivery, frequency capping, and anonymous performance analytics.
